Yahoo Web Search No Longer Supports The Meta Keywords Tag

But did they really quit supporting the keyword tag? Maybe not…

It seems that there might be more to this news than there first appears. This link to a very specific Yahoo Search seems to indicate that they might still be indexing the meta keywords tag. However, Yahoo could also be listing the site in question because it contains links from several other pages that make reference to the keyword in question: “a6l0j8f6jg9l30s12ew6nun9kr21qxe0”.

There is no way of knowing for sure, but it will be interesting to watch this one and see if the site is still ranking in the weeks to come!
